Out-of-contract Bristol City midfielder Han-Noah Massengo is attracting interest from newly promoted Burnley.
Reports in France, more specifically Sebastian Denis who writes for Foot Mercato says that Vincent Kompany and the Clarets ‘appreciates’ Massengo and are considering signing him this window.

Massengo has spent the last five months out on loan at Auxerre where he has found form again. The former Monaco midfielder had been frozen out under Nigel Pearson but back in his native France he has made 14 appearances, as he tries to help Auxerre avoid the drop.
Back at the end of March, Massengo admitted he hadn’t been thinking about his long-term future but discussed his time at Bristol City.
“For the moment, we haven’t really talked about it,” he said to French media.

Massengo made a handful of appearances this season but he mainly trained with the Under-21’s squad. He made 12 appearances this year but his last appearance came in a 3-0 defeat to Birmingham City in October.
He had been offered a contract in January 2022, but talks between the club and his representatives reached an impasse, and despite seemingly saying his goodbyes at the end of the 2021/22 campaign, no team made a reasonable offer for him.
“I was in a complicated situation at Bristol City,” he admitted.

“I hardly trained with the professional group anymore, I only played as a reserve... I wanted to find some playing time and it turns out that AJA was looking for a midfielder.
"The challenge of helping the club to I liked staying in place, getting back to the French championship too, and so I signed with AJA at the end of January.”
Furthering on from Foot Mercato’s report, they understand Massengo will not remain at Auxerre once his loan expires. If Massengo moves to Burnley then City would get some compensation given he would be joining an English rival.
