The best value for money season-tickets for EVERY Championship club including Bristol City, Sunderland and Cardiff City

Being a season ticket holder at your club is the best way to support them - but did everyone get rewarded for their loyalty?

Bristol City boasted one of the best support in Championship, and got into the top 10 for home attendances. The Robins who finished 14th this season, boasted the seventh best home crowd, and had more fans come through the turnstiles than league winners Burnley.

Most of the fans at Ashton Gate will have been season ticket holders, and so far 15,000 fans have signed up to support the Robins next year in what promises to be an exciting season. Nigel Pearson has money to spend this summer, and with an already talented squad that boasts the like of Anis Mehmeti, Alex Scott, Tommy Conway and Sam Bell, fans are excited about what's to come this summer. Fans' loyalty should be rewarded, especially given it's a time where they're having to decide whether to support their football club or prioritise paying their household bills. So for the fan of the club in the red side of Bristol, are they getting a bang for their buck?

A study has been undertaken by Betfred, who have looked in to the cost of every season ticket in the 2022/23 campaign. Their aim was to determine which club had the best value-for-money purchase in regards to home wins this season. A win is home is assumed because it's your ground to defend, but not every team has the best record in front of their fans.

Betfred's study looks at home wins this season, as well as the amount of goals scored. Here are the results, with running from worst value to best. If you’d like to view the study in full, it’s available here.
