Bristol City transfer news: Robins star to ‘join’ Premier League club, three clubs ‘competing’ for Leeds United starlet

The latest transfer news from Bristol City and the rest of the Championship

Bristol City look to be one step closer to keeping hold of Antoine Semenyo this month, with Bournemouth reportedly moving on in their pursuit of a striker. The Cherries saw two bids rejected for the attacker last week.

Bournemouth had bids of £8m and £10m turned down last Thursday, while Burnley also saw their offer dismissed for the in-demand star. The two clubs are now said to be neearing deals for Lyle Foster and Nicolas Jackson respectively.

However, there still remains to be plenty of interest in Semenyo, who has netted six goals in the Championship this season. With less than a week to go, Nigel Pearson and Bristol City fans will be praying that he remains at Ashton Gate beyond transfer deadline day.
