Bristol City got what is expected to be a hectic period in the transfer market underway when they completed their first summer signing on Monday.
Former Oxford United midfielder Mark Sykes put pen to paper on a three-year deal after departing the League One club and will be the first of a number of new faces at Ashton Gate before the start of the new season.
There has also been a departure with the announcement Callum O’Dowda has been released and City remain in talks with Will Buse, Robbie Cundy, Timm Klose and Andy King - with the latter expected to take on a player-coach role working under Nigel Pearson.
A number of new names have been linked with a move to City and one current star is reportedly attracting interest from a number of clubs.
