Watch the incredible Ashton Gate atmosphere generated by Bristol City fans for 4-1 thumping of Plymouth

Bristol City fans had all the reason to celebrate after they watched their team romp to a 4-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night.

The Robins claimed their first home win of the season at Ashton Gate - and the performance was one that the home faithful could be proud of after playing their part in the match.

Four different goal scorers were on the score sheet with Sam Bell and Matty James scoring inside eight minutes and then after Adam Randell pulled a goal back, Mark Sykes restored the two-goal advantage. January signing Harry Cornick got his first home league goal of the season too.

"We gave them something to cheer about tonight," said first-team manager Nigel Pearson to Robins TV.

"At the weekend it was a good performance against a good side but tonight we gave them goals and we gave them a strong finish in terms of trying to create opportunities. I’m pleased for them as well."

Both official and unofficial footage has emerged from Tuesday night’s match, and one video has gone viral including a clip that has garnered nearly 1,000,000 views. YouTuber Jack Buchanan, who made his own Robins documentary ‘Now You’re Gonna Believe Us’ which documents the 2014/15 double-winning season shared a clip from the East Stand, which is where the Section 82 supporters are based.

A fan with a megaphone can be seen leading the ‘East End bounce around, Dolman bounce around, South Stand bounce around, and Lansdown bounce around’ chant, as he tries to drum up the atmosphere.

The aforementioned clip has got 956,000 views after being shared on The 44, which has 54,000 followers whilst Football Away Days with 302.9k followers has also shared it this morning, and that already has 240,000 views on the Twitter/X platform. In another clip seen here, Harry Cornick who has endured a slow start to life in the West Country, has endeared himself to supporters and they serenaded him with his own chant. To the tune of Herman's Hermits hit classic 'I'm Into Something Good' home fans chanted 'Woke up this morning feeling fine, got Harry Cornick on my mind and he is so fine oh yeah, something tells me I'm into something good.
