Bristol City have provided a brief update on the current status of first-team manager Nigel Person.
The Robins boss is currently on a leave of absence and is recuperating at home after a recent bout of COVID-19.

Hide AdPearson tested positive for the virus in September and missed three matches which his assistant Curtis Fleming oversaw.
He then missed the 3-2 defeat to Coventry City, the last match before the international period due to illness.
The previous update was the manager would be given time off and no time frame would be set on his return.
In the latest development on the matter, City CEO Richard Gould said to the clubs official website: “Nigel wants to come back as quickly as possible and is making good progress.

Fleming has been taking training sessions over the international period in the absence of Pearson and is expected to take charge of the team for the foreseeable future.
Despite a reduction in two coaching staff members after Keith Downing and Paul Simpson's departure as well as Pearson not appearing, there are no plans to add a temporary replacement.
City return to league action on Saturday when they welcome Blackburn Rovers to Ashton Gate and Fleming will be in the dug out for the match.

City stand within five points of the last play-off spot whilst seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Games are coming up quick and fast with a midweek game against Stoke scheduled after Blackburn before a trip to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Sunday.
Whilst their manager was present at training, both Joe Williams and Antoine Semenyo played in a behind-closed doors match last week, which would give them some vital first-team minutes as they continue their recovery.
There is a hope that midfielder Matty James will make a return after injuring his foot in the win over Barnsley.
