Robins register interest in Man City rising star

Bristol City have emerged as one of the clubs looking to sign Manchester City youth star Lewis Fiorini this summer. According to Football Insider, they are keen to bring the 21-year-old to Ashton Gate on loan for next season, but they are joined in the race by Swansea City and Reading.

Fiorini is contracted at City until 2026 but the Premier League champions are contemplating whether a loan move or permanent transfer would be the best fit for all parties involved.

The versatile midfielder has played in a number of roles over the years, including up front and on the wing. Fiorini spent last season out on loan with Blackpool, where he made 13 appearances and contributed to three goals.

West Ham want Alex Scott as Declan Rice departs

Scott may still be just 19 years old but he is receiving a lot of interest from Premier League sides who want to make him a key part of their team. West Ham are one club firmly in the running for his signature and have been in contact with his representatives over a potential summer signing.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has confirmed the Irons’ pursuit of Scott and has said they are “definitely interested” in signing the rising young star and view him as a cheaper alternative to Fulham’s João Palhinha.

“He won’t cost as much as Palhinha. Scott is more for potential, but he is someone they have been looking at and they are interested in,” Sheth told GiveMeSport. “They are doing work behind the scenes for when Declan Rice leaves West Ham.”
