Andi Weimann looks set to play a part for Bristol City at the weekend after injury fears were put at ease.
The 31-year-old was substituted on Thursday early in the second-half for Austria with an injury feared. He did not play a part in their 3-1 defeat to Croatia which confirmed their relegation, consigning them to League B along with England and Wales.

Ralf Rangick revealed he had a leg injury over the weekend, and during the warm-up, he could be seen with strapping on his knee. The news is that it is not as serious as thought and it is likely that he will not miss any games for the Robins.
Reported by BristolLive, it is their understanding is that there was some swelling to his leg and he did not play against Croatia as a precaution. The exact issue has not been revealed but he has returned to the High Performance Centre and will train as normal.
They added that City’s physio team will make their own assessment before Saturday’s match with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
First-team manager Nigel Pearson is likely to clarify the situation in his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
Weimann has missed just one match this season, which was the Carabao Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers. He has got eight goal contributions this season with four goals and four assists across all competitions.

Nahki Wells wasn’t on international duty in the last week, because Bermuda do not play until the next international period after the World Cup, which is in March.
Making the most of his spare time, he was at the Gate this weekend and took in the Women’s game between City and Southampton, which ended in a 1-1 draw after Ffion Morgan’s goal was cancelled out.

Famara Diédhiou and Bobby Decordova-Reid were seen pictured together last week at Cabot Circus.

Diedhiou wasn’t included in Senegal’s squad for their friendlies against Bolivia and Iran and so returned to Bristol.
Decordova-Reid, who left in 2018, and is now in the Premier League with Fulham.
