A CCTV of two children has been issued by police investigating the robbery of a woman in her 60s in Kingswood.

The woman was taking money out from a cashpoint at Kings Chase Shopping Centre when the money was snatched from her hands, on March 8 at around 10.45am. The woman suffered bruising and swelling to her finger, and received treatment from paramedics.

Police want to speak to two children as part of their investigation into what happened. They are described as white and around 11 to 14 years old.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Police would like to speak to these two children as part of their enquiries into a robbery in Kingswood. Officers would like to speak to the two boys as we believe they have information about the incident on Wednesday 8 March.

“The two boys are white, around 11-14 years old, wearing blue and green coats, blue jeans and trainers. At around 10.45am on 8 March, the victim, a woman in her 60s, had withdrawn money from a cashpoint in Kingschase Shopping Centre, Kingswood, when the money was snatched out of her hands.

“Following the incident, the victim received care from the ambulance service for bruising and swelling to her finger which was bent back in the incident.
