Schools closed near me today in Bristol due to snow

Bristol woke up to snow today (March 8) - and the first thought on many parents’ minds was if their child’s school was open. Thanks to Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council, we’re able to provide the list of schools not open.

According to the Met Office, which has issued a yellow weather warning, snow is likely to fall again this morning at 9am and 10am, before returning at around 3pm.

Meanwhile, temperatures will be just above freezing. With this in mind, here’s the list of schools so far below which have decided to close today, or for part of the day:

* Cabot Primary School, Halston Drive, St Pauls.

* Cotham School, Cotham Lawn Road, Cotham - Open from 10:45 today to allow snow clearance to take place and the site to be made safe.
