Snow in Bristol: 14 of the best pictures taken of the snow across the city today

You may have seen or heard but a blanket of snow has been draped across Bristol this morning (March 8).

There has been some disruption with Bristol Airport grounding flights, some delays on the roads and a couple of schools have been impacted. On today, the Met Office says: “Mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain, sleet, or snow. Risk of heavier rain and snow later in the afternoon, with snow more likely over high ground. Winds strengthening especially on the south coast. Maximum temperature 5 °C.”

But, most seem to be happy to have woken to the snow and have snapped their gardens or morning walks showing the city glistening white. Here are 14 of our favourite images of the snow in Bristol today.
