Arctic Monkeys Bristol 2023: Road closures, shuttle bus, confirmed set times for Ashton Gate gig

It’s the big one! Tonight (May 29), Arctic Monkeys kick off their highly anticipated UK & ireland tour with a huge gig at Ashton Gate - the home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears.
Thousands of people have bought tickets for tonight’s show, which will also feature The Hives and The Mysterines as support acts for the world re-nowned Sheffield quartet.
It all starts at 3pm when the gates will open to the stadium - and road closures will begin to be enforced with no parking around the venue.
We have now got all the details on the road closures, shuttle bus and, most importantly, those set times everyone wants to know.
Which roads are closed and when?
It begins at 3pm with the closure of Ashton Road from the junction with Duckmoor Road to Marsh Road - this will be in place till 2am.
Winterstoke Road will also be closed from 9pm from the Winterstoke insterchange with the A370 to the junction with Ashton Drive. The Sainsbury’s car park will be a pick up point for taxis from the gig.
When are the shuttle buses
The shuttle bus service is sold out. The service takes people from Brislington Park and Ride, Temple Meads Railway Station, The Mall at Cribbs and Portway Park and Ride to the venue, with buses running frequently from 3pm to 7pm.
After the event, buses will depart from Winterstoke Road when full and return to collect any remaining passengers.
When are Arctic Monkeys on stage?
The timings you have been waiting for - the set times are as follows. The doors open at 5pm. The Mysterines are due on at 6.40pm. The Hives are on at 7.35pm. And then the Arctic Monkeys are due on at 8.50pm.
At 10.25pm the concert is set to end, before the bars close at 11.30pm and the stadium at midnight.
