It follows the merger of the two companies, Berlin-based Tier and Amsterdam-based Dott, at the beginning of 2024.
Iqbal Ahmed, head of public policy UK at Tier-Dott, said: “We are delighted to announce this step for the West of England and are confident that the integration of Tier and Dott will further advance shared micro-mobility in the region.

“The aim of our shared service of e-bikes and e-scooters is to complement the public transport systems at a local level.”
Tier e-scooters were first deployed across Bristol in October last year, taking over from previous operator Voi.
Tier-Dott operates in over 400 cities across 21 countries, giving users access to an even larger fleet of electric scooters and bikes across Europe and the Middle East.
UPDATE, August 23: The official migration date was originally August 29 but has been changed to September 4, “to allow users enough time to download the Dott app and ensure a smooth transition”.
