Bristol’s ring road has unfortunately seen a number of fatal crashes over the past year, including last week in Warmley.
New data from UK road safety map website called CrashMap.has revealed the number of crashes at each of Bristol’s ring road junctions.
Uing tool uses information supplied by the Department for Transport to show where incidents happened, and when, over a 10-year period from 2012 to 2021.
And by zooming in on Bristol’s ring road junctions, the number of crashes at each one can be revealed. We’ve put together a list of the worst 10 junctions for incidents:

9. Hicks Gate A4/A4174, Keynsham
29 crashes have taken place, including three serious in July 2013, May, 2014 and January 2020 | Google Maps

10. Hengrove Way Roundabout
29 crashes including five serious in May 2012, June 2012, September 2014, May 2021 and December 2021 | Google Maps
