The fact that there is usually a queue of vinyl hunters outside Longwell Records is testament to the popularity of this Keynsham record shop.
Owner Iain Aitchison - who once appeared in a scene with Hollywood star Christopher Walken in Stephen Merchant’s Bristol TV series The Outlaws - is passionate about vinyl but also about the city where he grew up.
Originally from Southmead, he is a keen advocate of Bristol bands and their albums are still some of the most requested in his shop.
We asked Iain for the top ten sellers at Longwell Records at the moment and the list ranges from legends like The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac to Bristol favourites Idles and Massive Attack.

1. Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
‘You can sell this record all day long, it has been lapped up by the new generation to vinyl and it’s a great album.’
2. Ulysses - On Safari
‘This album from Bath glam-rockers Ulysses got 9/10 in most music magazines upon release and totally deserves it.’
3. Billy Nomates - Debut
‘Billy Nomates made her actual debut in the shop and went on to sign with Invada and two LPs later she is sounding better and better.’
4. De La Soul - 3 Feet High & Rising
‘Recently reissued for the first time in yonks, this 1989 hip hop album comes with lots of personal stories from my customers - all brilliant of course!’
