Carol Vorderman has reminisced on when she was on multiple ITV primetime shows at the same time. The former Countdown star, 62, who lives in Bristol, took to Instagram to share a video of when she interviewed the legendary Barry White for ITV’s Stars and their Lives.

Alongside the post, the I’m A Celebrity star wrote: “My show with the LEGENDARY Barry White. 20 years ago, I was doing Countdown with another 4 prime time shows on ITV at the same time....you couldn’t get rid of me!!! Lols.

“One series was called STARS AND THEIR LIVES (a bit like This is Your Life but where the stars knew they were going to be on) ....this one was with MR BARRY WHITE, the Walrus of Lurve...We flew about 50 of his family and best friends over....it was a riot....”

In the clip, the R&B crooner calls his music “his lady”, and explains: “It has to be a lady, no one could be that sensitive, and that compassionate. She never upsets me, we never fight, we never argue, all we do is make love.”

Carol then asks Barry: “Just say love for me, go on, please.” The American singer replies, as Carol gushes over his voice.

She made reference to this in her Instagram caption, writing: “When he said LURVE...omg even my sofa vibrated from the sound!!!! What a joy....So many memories ❤️❤️.”
