“One series was called STARS AND THEIR LIVES (a bit like This is Your Life but where the stars knew they were going to be on) ....this one was with MR BARRY WHITE, the Walrus of Lurve...We flew about 50 of his family and best friends over....it was a riot....”

In the clip, the R&B crooner calls his music “his lady”, and explains: “It has to be a lady, no one could be that sensitive, and that compassionate. She never upsets me, we never fight, we never argue, all we do is make love.”

Carol then asks Barry: “Just say love for me, go on, please.” The American singer replies, as Carol gushes over his voice.

She made reference to this in her Instagram caption, writing: “When he said LURVE...omg even my sofa vibrated from the sound!!!! What a joy....So many memories ❤️❤️.”
