Scott Sinclair: Bristol Rovers footballer posts sweet snap after ‘split’ from fiancée Helen Flanagan

Scott Sinclair has been inundated with messages from fans hoping that he reunites with Helen Flanagan after sharing a snap of their children.

The Bristol Rovers footballer, 33, took to Instagram with a photo showing himself alongside his three children Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, 18 months.

He captioned the post with three heart emojis, while making no reference to rumours of his shock split from Helen Flanagan after 13 years together.

Almost 8,000 people have liked the snap and many have left comments saying that they would “love” to see the football star and former Coronation Street actress rekindle their romance.

One person commented: “Hope you guys work things out. Gorgeous family 🙌”

Another wrote: “Would love you both to be able to sort things out. So sad”

A third added: “Gorgeous kids with their daddy ❤️”

Both Scott and Helen haven’t posted photographs of each other on their Instagram pages since June. Helen marked Father’s Day with a sweet snap of Scott playing with their children, while he shared a post showing them as a seemingly happy, smiling couple.

Rumours of their separation were sparked last week and followed by a source telling The Sun that Helen broke off their engagement due to a “bad omen”.

The insider said: “She’s into all things spiritual and had a feeling so she sought guidance from a psychic medium.

"Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship but ultimately she saw the ring breaking as a bad omen and one that meant she shouldn’t get married.”

Helen has been seen without her engagement ring in a series of recent images, including at the Pride of Britain Awards last Monday and in an Instagram post donning a devil Halloween costume.

However, she is yet to publicly speak about her relationship with Scott, who is set to return to Bristol Rovers F.C after being released from Preston North End.

A source recently told MailOnline that the pair had “endured a testing few months” and were unable to spend quality time together.

The insider added: “The children are their world and main priority, and they will always ensure nothing affects them.

“Helen has been putting herself out there, it’s very much business as usual in her career and she won’t allow issues in her personal life to bring her down.”
