Russell Howard: fans praise ‘very funny’ comedian as he rejoices over 12 weeks of ‘sold out’ gigs

Russell Howard has been praised by fans after sharings his gratitude for the last 12 weeks on tour. The comedian, 43, who was born in Bristol, took to Instagram on Monday (5 June) to thank fans for attending the sold out Russell Howard Live UK tour.
The carousel of snaps gave a glimpse into the comedy shows in Bournemouth from over the weekend, with shots of the crowd from the stage showing the sheer magnitude of the venue and the attendees.

Hide AdRussell captioned the post: “Week 12 of tour, DONE! Bournemouth what an absolutely incredible week of sold out gigs, and what a joy to play a 4000 seat venue! Thank you to everyone who came, I hope you had as much fun as I did.”
Fans of the much-loved comedian flooded the comments with praise for the shows, with one writing: “Russell it was blast seeing you on your first night last Friday” and another wrote: “Such a fab show! You made us laugh so much!”
The compliments continued to flow into the comments section, with fans sounding almost like they are friends with the comedian. One wrote: “We had an absolute blast fella! Hopefully you’ll come back down this way soon!” and another wrote “Loved every second you were hilarious from start to finish, first time seeing you live can’t wait till the next tour.”
Another impressed fan commented: “You were brilliant! Thank you for making me laugh so bloody hard.”

Hide AdAside from the praise there were also fans asking about the Belfast gig which was planned to take place on 11 and 12 April, but was postponed by Russell due to personal reasons. These dates are now said to be rescheduled for 29 and 30 August 2023.
Russell kicked-off the huge tour on 16 March at the Hexagon venue in Reading, before spending multiple nights performing in Southend, Leicester, Cambridge, London and Manchester. As he is still mid-tour, he has yet to entertain sold-out crowds in Portsmouth, Brighton, Aberdeen and York.
