Maya Jama: Love Island host spotted with Leonardo DiCaprio’s best friend Tobey Maguire in Cannes

Maya Jama left fans stunned when she shared a photo with Leonardo DiCaprio’s best friend, Tobey Maguire as they both partied and dined at an event in Cannes. The Love Island host, 28, from Bristol, took to British Vogue X Chopard party, including one where she is seen  posing with Spiderman’s Tobey Maguire.

The former radio host attended a variety of events whilst she was in Cannes to attend  the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival, including the Vanity Fair x Prada party and the British Vogue X Chopard. She was spotted mingling with world-renowned supermodels, such as Ashley Graham, Irina Shayk, Helena Christensen and Neelam Gill.

Maya wore a white French lace creation from London designer, Aadnevik, with a plunging neckline and silk 3D flower embellishments. According to Cosmopolitan, the see-through gown is reportedly worth an eye-watering £17,500.Maya captioned the carousel of glamourous snaps: “suchhh a beautiful evening with @britishvogue”

Fans flooded the comments after being surprised to see Maya with Tobey. One fan wrote: “Can’t believe u met spiderman,” while another said: “Just gonna ignore the fact you’re sat next to Spider-Man then?”

A third was more intrigued by Tobey’s style choices for the event, writing: “Why is Peter Parker there with a T-shirt on?”

May also took to her Instagram stories and shared the snap with Tobey again, with the caption: “Spiderman & MJ volume 10.”

Maya’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival comes just weeks after Leonardo DiCaprio denied rumours that they were dating.The TV host and actor were previously spotted leaving a club in Paris together, and then a source later claimed that the pair were casually dating. However, Maya told fans to “move on” from the “silly rumours.”

Maya has since been linked to her ex-boyfriend Stormzy, 29, with recent reports claiming they are back in regular contact and a possible reconciliation is on the cards.

Leonardo DiCaprio , 48, also attended  this year’s Cannes Film Festival.  The Hollywood actor  received a standing ovation at the premiere of his new film, Killers Of The Flower Moon.

Tobey’s presence at the British Vogue X Chopard party came after he attended the screening of his best friend Leonardo’s film on Saturday at the Palais des Festivals. The pair were later welcomed on board the luxurious yacht of Australian businessman James Packer.

Leonardo and Tobey have been friends for many years, after both rose to fame in Hollywood as child stars. Theyworked together on 1993 film, This Boy’s Life as well as indie flick Don’s Plum in 2001, with the duo reuniting once again for The Great Gatsby in 2013.
