Maisie Williams is famously known for her role in hit mediaeval fantasy television series ‘Game of Thrones’.The actress, 26, who is from Bristol, made her acting debut at the age of 12 on the series, where she co-starred in one of the largest ensemble casts ever on television.

The fantasy drama series was based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novel series. As the series gained fans and grew in popularity internationally, it led to Maisie gaining global recognition as an actress. She went on to receive multiple awards for her eight year role in Game of Thrones.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Maisie William is worth $8 million, which is just under £6.5 million. This large sum is mostly due to her best known role, as Arya Stark on the monumentally popular HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’.

From 2011, Maisie took on the lead character role in the drama and remained centre-stage  until its end in 2019. As a result, Maisie received widespread praise from critics and earned two Emmy Award nominations.

Maisie reportedly earned around $150,000 per Game of Thrones episode, with each series consisting of about 10 episodes, the figures would equate to earnings of about $1.5 million per series.

She also appeared in a number of other projects, during her time on Game of Thrones, this included an appearance on BBC’s Doctor Who, and film roles in The Falling (2014), Cyberbully (2015), and iBoy (2017). After GoT ended, she started appearing in the miniseries, Two Weeks to Live.

As well as movies such as romantic comedy-drama, Then Came You (2018), superhero horror The New Mutants (2020), and horror-thriller, The Owner (2020).

In addition to her work as an actress, Maisie has worked with a number of brands over the years. In 2020, she featured in an Audi TV advert during the Super Bowl, in the same year, she also endorsed Apple’s Macbook and was named brand ambassador for Cartier.

Maisie is currently set to star in AppleTV+ series, The New Look, which will detail the life of fashion icons Christian Dior and Coco Chanel in the years after World War II. She will be playing  Catherine Dior, Christian’s younger sister.
