Carol appears on This Morning every other Friday to discuss various topics and to take part in phone-ins. Long-running team captain, Ian Hislop, 62, asked Carol: “You’re on it aren’t you?” To which she replied: “Well I do it every other Friday, yeah with Alison and lovely Dermot.”
Ian asked: “So are you going to take over? Is it going to be Holly and Carol?” She replied: “No!” The 62-year-old added: “Probably Holly and Alison I would have thought.”
Phillip Schofield stepped down from his role on the popular morning show after 20 years and later also resigned from ITV, which means he will not be hosting the British Soap Awards in June.
