New Screwfix store to open in Bristol this summer
Good news for DIY enthusiasts
A new store of DIY chain Screwfix is set to open in Bristol later this year.
The branch at South Bristol Trade Park off Winterstoke Road in Ashton will open this summer, with an opening date yet to be announced.
A Screwfix spokesperson told BristolWorld: “We are delighted to bring Screwfix closer to even more customers and look forward to welcoming busy tradespeople to our new store in Ashton, Bristol this summer.
“As we grow our store network we will announce details about each new store, including planned dates for opening, in due course.”
Screwfix is currently recruiting for the new store, with a job application saying it will be open seven days a week.
The listed opening hours are Monday - Friday (7am to 8pm), Saturday (7am to 6pm) and Sunday (9am to 4pm).
The new Screwfix will be opposite a former Wickes store, which BristolWorld revealed was closing earlier in the year.
The new store will join a number of Screwfix sites already in the city, including in Bedminster, Hengrove and Brislington.
