Work is underway to open a new multi-level bar in Bristol city centre. Goldbrick House is due to open on Park Street on March 1.

The owners say there will be something for everyone, ‘from a perfectly poured pint to a magnum of the finest Champagne and everything in between’.

The 300-capacity building was previously home to cocktail bar The Florist until April 2023, and was also run as Goldbrick House under previous owners from 2006 to 2016.

The ground floor will house Goldie’s, a drop-in bar serving continental beers on tap alongside creamy stout and selected local pours.

The first floor will be Alfred’s Wine & Champagne Bar, which will be a table service bar with a wide list of Champagne and wines.

The second floor will be home to Boujee Wonderland, a disco room with resident DJs playing retro soul and Motown and a giant golden glitter ball.

The building will also have The Coach House, which will have views over the city and will host a series of events throughout the week.

The space will also host food offerings such as a steak night, brunches and a ‘retro hipster’ carvery.

Goldbrick House director Paula Hanley said: “We can’t wait to open the doors on the newly refurbished Goldbrick House.

“We invite Bristol to ‘Come Fabulous’ to experience all the fun of a proper night out in the beautiful setting we’ve created.

“I truly believe there is nothing quite like Goldbrick in Bristol right now and I know our guests are going to love what we’ve got planned for them. Let’s get the party started!”
