New drive-thru Greggs store opens in Bristol

A new Greggs drive-thru store has opened in Bristol today (March 18).

The drive-thru has opened on Merlin Road, opposite The Mall Cribbs Causeway, after several years in the making.

The new shop stocks Greggs favourites including the sausage roll, steak bake and vegan alternatives.

Its opening hours are:

• Thursday – Monday: 6am – 7pm
• Friday – Sunday: 6am – 8pm

Shop manager Suzanne Court said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new drive thru.

"We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”

Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, added: “Our new drive thru in Bristol has brought 15 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their favourite Greggs food.”

The opening of the new drive-thru comes after BristolWorld revealed that another Greggs in the city is set to close later in the year.
