Man suffers ‘severe’ injuries in crash on busy route to Bristol Airport

A man suffered severe injuries after his car smashed into a wall near Bristol Airport last night (May 1).

The incident happened in Regil Lane in Winford, and resulted in the closure of the road which is a main route for people to get to the airport from the south west of the city.

A crew from Bedminster Fire Station attended and used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the blaze from the car.
