Man in hospital after being assaulted at four-star hotel in Bristol city centre - police issue statement

A man has been hospitalised after being assaulted inside a four-star hotel in Bristol’s city centre today (December 15) police have confirmed. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to the Future Inn Hotel, near Cabot Circus, shortly after 4am where they found a lone male had been assaulted. The offender is yet to be caught and officers are continuing to investigate their whereabouts.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to the Futures Inn Hotel at Cabot Circus, Bristol, at around 4.20am today (Thursday 15 December) following reports of an assault.

“One man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

“The investigation is ongoing to locate the offender. If you witnessed anything, or have any information, please call 101 and quote reference 5222299164.”
