Man charged with entering properties to commit sexual offence named

A man from Patchway has been charged by police with entering properties with the intent of commiting a sexual offence in Hartcliffe.

Afeez Buraimoh, 30, is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today (August 23).

He is charged with two counts of knowingly/recklessly trespassed on premises with intent to commit a sexual offence.

Buraimoh was arrested following police incidents in the Hartcliffe area on Sunday morning.

Police have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area.

Avon and Somerset Police released a statement today. It said: “A man will appear before magistrates after being charged in connection with incidents in Hartcliffe on Sunday 21 August.

“Afeez Buraimoh, from Patchway, has been charged with two counts of knowingly/recklessly trespassed on premises with intent to commit a sexual offence.

“He was remanded in custody overnight.

“The 30-year-old is due to appear before Bristol Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 23 August).”
