Staff at a supermarket in Brislington were threatened with a metal bike chain when two thieves made off with food. The incident happened at Lidl on the Bath Road on May 18, at around 10.15am.

Police say two men went to walk out of the shop without paying for food - and when challenged by staff they made verbal threats before one threatened workers with the chain.

The pair then ran off.
