Knowle shooting: Man shot in the leg in ‘targeted incident’ on housing estate
A man was shot in the leg in a ‘targeted incident’ involving several people in a Knowle neighbourhood last night (November 2).
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the incident in Courtenay Crescent at around 8pm following reports of disorder.

Hide AdShortly after, a 34-year-old man turned up at hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and he remains in custody this afternoon.
An investigation has been launched and a number of officers are guarding the scene as evidence is gathered.
CCTV from the area is also being reviewed while house-to-house enquiries are carried out.

Hide AdInsp Chris Green, of the Broadbury Road neighbourhood policing team, said: “This is a concerning incident in which a man has been shot in the leg.
“Thankfully the injuries he suffered are not life-threatening.
“At this time we believe this to be a targeted incident involving people known to each other.
“There will be a significant policing presence in the area over the coming days, including additional patrols, as we investigate this crime and we’d encourage any residents with concerns or worries to speak to officers with their neighbourhood policing team.
