Clifton street fight: Police issue update after four men were stabbed

The four men stabbed in a street fight in Clifton in the early hours of Sunday morning have been discharged from hospital.

A fifth man who presented himself at hospital with ‘similar injuries’ has also gone home.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to the incident described as “significant disorder” in Queens Avenue, near the Clifton Triangle, on Sunday at 2.45am.

The five men in hospital were all arrested as well as four other people.

All have now been released under investigation, police said today (November 11).

The road reopened Sunday night and enquiries are ongoing, a spokesperson for the force said.
