Huge police response to fight in Henbury with two men and a woman arrested

Police were called to a fight in Henbury this morning. The incident happened at an address in Grayle Road, with Avon and Somerset Police receiving a call at 9.50am.

Avon and Somerset Police say two men were arrested, and taken to hospital for injuries not thought to be life-threatening. A woman was also arrested at the scene. Police investigating what happened remain at the scene this lunchtime.

The incident triggered concerns from local people on Facebook. People reported seeing many police cars, including some unmarked, and ambulance crews in the residential road, which is off Crow Lane.

Avon and Somerset Police issued a statement to Bristol World on the incident. It said: “Police officers and paramedics attended an address in Grayle Road, Henbury, on Sunday 20 November. We received a call at about 9.50am to say there had been a physical confrontation.

“Two men have been arrested. They have also attended hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. A woman has also been arrested and taken into custody.

“Officers are currently at the scene and enquiries are underway to establish what happened. Anyone with information that could assist our investigation is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5222278950.”
