Woman, 34, accused of arson over flat fire in Totterdown

A woman has been accused of starting a fire at a home in Totterdown.

Toni Morris, 34, of Currells Lane, Felton in North Somerset, has been charged with arson with reckless endangerment of life after the blaze in a flat in Lilymead Avenue on June 10 last year.

Four firefighters tackled the blaze which spread into the roof of the property.

Morris appeared in the dock at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (January 11).

She is also accused of assault to a person and criminal damage to a black Vauxhall Corsa vehicle, also on June 10 last year.

Morris did not enter a plea on any of the charges and the case was adjourned to commence again at Bristol Crown Court on February 9.
