Two men, both aged 30, were arrested by police at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Today (July 12), an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said one of the men had now been released on conditional bail and the other released under investigation.
The difference between the two is that under bail the man arrested has been given a date to report back to police.
The force is appealing for witnesses to the incident or the Audi being driven before the crash to call 101.
