He was treated for his injuries hospital which were found not to be life-threatening.

Police descended on the scene around 8pm that evening and later arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH), who has since been released under investigation.

It has now emerged that a second man, aged 30, was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has also been released under investigation.

At the time of the attack Insp Chris Green, of the Broadbury Road neighbourhood policing team, said police believed the incident was ‘targeted’ and involved people known to each other.
