A driver smashed into a parked vehicle on a main road in south Bristol before fleeing the scene on foot. The incident happened on the Wells Road in Knowle on January 15 at 2.05pm.

The vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Astra, hit the parked car - and the driver left immediately. Police investigating the incident have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connecting with the crash.

He is described as male, white, in his 20s or 30s, of average build and with dark hair and facial hair. He was seen wearing a tracksuit that is predominantly navy. Anyone who recognises him, or witnessed the collision, should call 101 and give the call-handler reference number 5223011215.
