The case of White, of Chipperfield Drive, was heard at Bristol Crown Court this morning, where she was remanded in custody to appear before the same court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on April 25. She was not at the hearing.

On Monday, the family of Mr Lewis paid tribute to him, describing him as a ‘wonderful much-loved son’. Tributes have also come from Hanham Athletic Football Club and the community.

An online fundraiser for his funeral has raised almost £6,000.
