The force says it took action to close the property as residents were living in fear and were subjected to ongoing crime.

An Avon & Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Bristol Magistrates' Court granted a three-month closure order of a property in Delius Grove, in Knowle.

"The address was linked to anti-social behaviour and drug dealing, with drug paraphernalia and a BB gun found in the property.

"The Neighbourhood Policing Team worked closely with Bristol City Council to encourage the tenant to change their behaviour.

“However, residents living in the area lived in fear and were subjected to ongoing crime which had a significant impact on their day-to-day lives. We therefore took the action to close the property.

"We would like to share our sincere thanks to the community in their bravery in coming forward and supporting this closure order.”

Residents recently installed dummy CCTV cameras on lampposts in the Inns Court area to address anti-social behaviour - but these were stolen within 24 hours.
