Bristol Sounds 2022: Full line-up and times announced

Bristol Sounds is set to return to the city’s harbourside later this month, with over 20,000 festival-goers set to descend for six days of ‘world class’ music.

The open-air summer concert will take over Lloyd’s Ampitheatre, which offers a stunning backdrop of Bristol harbour behind the main stage, from Wednesday, June 22 - Monday, June 27.

Joining the big-name headliners are Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paolo Nutini, Elbow, Jungle, First Aid Kit and The War On Drugs.

Support acts include Austrialian indie electro pop band Confidence Man, Kelly Lee Owens who has collaborated with the lies of Björk, along with Bristol local Katy J Pearson.

Closing the music event series on June 27 alongside The War On Drugs is Nashville’s Soccer Mommy.

After being forced to cancel the much-loved event over the past two years due to the pandemic, organisers say this year’s Bristol Sounds will be ‘the biggest to date’.

Event promoter Conal Dodds, of Crosstown Concerts, said: “This year will be the biggest to date for Bristol Sounds with a line-up representing the diverse music genres represented in Bristol and beyond.

“It’s great to be back after a two-year Covid-imposed hiatus with some of the most epic line-ups we’ve ever had.
