5. Harbour House, city centre
'Well known for their afternoon tea and Sunday roast, they also serve an all-day menu of appealing modern dishes, which offers something for everyone. The fish dishes are a highlight, and the kedgeree arancini, a must-try.’
6. Adelina Yard, city centre
‘Sit at the chef’s table to watch all the action or at the far end of the L-shaped room overlooking the quay. Attractively presented, well-balanced modern dishes are sometimes brought to the tables by the chefs themselves.'
7. Tare, Wapping Wharf
Another five star restaurant, with 373 reviews, one happy customer described their evening at Tare by saying: ‘ Don’t judge a book by its cover! This restaurant interior and food experience would be right at home in Bray, London and other fine dining high-streets.'
