Bristol supermarket opening hours May bank holiday 2022: what time do Lidl and Asda open and close today?

As it is with a usual bank holiday, supermarkets in Bristol today will alter their hours, allowing shorter hours for staff so they can spend more time with friends or loved ones.

This is the first bank holiday since the Easter weekend.

When is the May bank holiday weekend?

May bank holiday weekend will commence from this Friday (29 April).

It will conclude on May Day which takes place in the UK every year on May 1 or the first Monday of the month.

Each of the eight major UK supermarkets have decided to alter their opening and closing times for their stores in and around the Bristol area for May bank holiday weekend.

On the whole, it seems that the only day affected is May Day (2 May).
