Hide AdBecky shared her favourite area is North Street because of the independent shops and cafes.
She also said: "It's an expensive place to live, but I think it's a nice place to live I imagine. I don't live here. But also a very nice place to visit."
The sentiment was shared by Michelle, who has lived on and off in Southville for 50 years: "This is a very working-class area, but it's got a vibrant energy to it, and I think this is what we need a post office really up this end again, but as I said it's just nice.
"We've got Ashton Fruit, which is really old you know and Lion's stores which are one of the original shops, Parsons and Bakers so we've got some old traditional shops here but a vibrant area, very expensive. You've got like £700,000 for a house now.

When asked about issues in the area, Becky commented: "There's a bit of antisocial down here around Aldi.
"Mostly they're just street drinking, which is actually illegal, but sometimes they're a little bit noisy, threatening and intimidating, but they're always down by Aldi."

Hide AdTheatre students Chrissie and Holly have recently moved from Gloucester Road to Southville and said: "Gloucester Road is a lot more urban, this seems a lot safer and family orientated.
"We love the fact that the factory is so close. Because we're theatre students, it means that theatre is so accessible here. And there are things like campus, there's an Aldi, which is really affordable for us.
"Everyone's been so friendly that we've met here so far. I feel like you just wouldn't get that in other parts of the city as much."
Kate lives in Long Ashton but visits North Street "about four or five times a week because it's got everything we need."
