The online lifestyle magazine revealed the 10 best locations to live -n Bristol and Somerset as part of its Best 260 Places to Live Series.
Other featured locations included Wells, Frome and Widcombe in Bath.
The overall winner was Castle Cary in South Somerset.

1. Castle Cary
Cary as the locals call it, is a pretty market town in South Somerset with historic buildings – 18th century Market House, 19th century lock up and thatched George Inn – and a fab collection of indies supplying all you desire. You need never leave (although if you do, the connections are good).

2. Wells
England’s smallest city is fast becoming the South West’s go-to place for festivals with annual food, comedy, theatre and literary fests. | google
3. Langport
Today, the little town on the edge of the Somerset Levels has a clutch of thriving, laid back indies and a spirit to match.

4. South Petherton
This golden hamstone village, five miles east of Ilminster, five miles north of Crewkerne in rural south Somerset, may be small but it’s got pretty much everything you need to live the good life – including indie shops and cafes, one of Somerset’s best farm shops and a Michelin-listed restaurant – and it’s just off the A303, so very handy for jaunts down to Cornwall.
