The landlord of a pub in Keynsham is taking over the running of another pub in Pensford.  

Rob Moore, who manages the Keynsham Courtyard, has announced he is also taking on the Rising Sun

In a Facebook post on the Keynsham Courtyard’s page, Rob wrote: “I am proud, delighted and excited to announce that we will be taking over the running of the Rising Sun in Pensford alongside the Courtyard at the end of September!

“We’ve been ironing out the finer details for a while but thankful we have finally got this acquisition over the line. 

“We hope we can continue the great work that Lisa, Bex and the rest of the team have done and rest assured the pub will be in safe hands.”

In a post on the Rising Sun’s page, the departing landlords added: “Thank you for all your custom over the past five years.

“We hand over to the new tenants on September 23. Don’t you worry, all the hard-working staff will still remain in the pub.

“Thank you for all the great memories and support.”
