The Rising Sun in the popular village of Pensford has a riverside beer garden bordered by the River Chew. The garden has seating for 60 people and an external BBQ gazebo area.
The stunning beer garden which overlooks the Pensford Weir Crossing (a 400-year-old bridge owned by the pub) was crowned the second best beer garden in England in 2023 and Britain’s best in 2020.

The Rising Sun is available on the basis of a brand new tenancy agreement (TAW initially) with St Austell Brewery and there will be a tie to St Austell Brewery for wet sales products.
