‘Bit of a nightmare’: Bristol pasta restaurant makes ‘unfortunate’ announcement about reopening

A pasta restaurant in Bristol which is currently undergoing refurbishment has pushed back its reopening date.

Little Hollows Pasta started having its kitchen renovated over Christmas, but said it’s “turned into a much bigger job than expected”.

The restaurant on Chandos Road in Redland, which was originally scheduled to reopen this week, is now not set to do so until Tuesday, January 21.

In a statement on Instagram, the restaurant wrote: “Bit of a nightmare with the cost spiralling and no income for the restaurant for nearly a month, BUT, we’ll have a beautiful new kitchen for our team at the end of the build.

“Thank you so much to all of the customers that we spoke to last week about cancelling or moving their reservations. Everyone was so understanding and supportive. That’s why we love trading in this city.

“Bookings are open from January 21 and we can’t wait to welcome you all back, with some great new dishes on the menu to boot.”
