Loungers is planning to open a new site in Bristol, BristolWorld can reveal.

The Bristol-founded operator of all-day cafes, bars and restaurants across the UK wants to run a food-led cafe bar at 251-255 Church Road in Redfield.

The site has most recently been used as a Buyology clearance store and before that was CM3.

Loungers has applied for a licence to run the premises as a Lounge with the opening hours of 8am to 12.30am.

Founded on North Street in Bristol in 2002, Loungers now has more than 280 venues across the UK and last summer opened Ritorno Lounge in place of Pitcher & Piano on the harbourside.
