Popular Bristol dessert parlour to reopen under new management

A popular retro-style Italian gelato and dessert restaurant in central Bristol is set to reopen under new management.

Creams, a gelato parlour which specialises in ice creams and other Italian-inspired desserts, is currently listed as temporarily closed.

Notices in the window, dated February 23, from a law firm said possession of the premises on Baldwin Street had been taken back by the landlord - which also happened in July 2023.     

But a Creams spokesperson told BristolWorld new management have taken over the site and are carrying out building work ahead of plans to reopen to the public the week after next.

A Creams spokesperson said: “We are a new management team taking over Bristol Creams. 

“We are expecting to complete the building work by next week Friday and open to the public/trading for the following week.” 

The Creams chain started in 2008 and calls itself ‘the UK’s favourite dessert parlour’, with around 100 stores dotted around the UK.
