When is the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend?
Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend is just around the corner at the time of publication - falling at the beginning of June.

Hide AdCombined with that of the Whitsun day off - which instead of being on the last Monday of May was moved to align with the Royal celebrations this year - the following dates will be affected: Thursday, 2 June (Whitsun), Friday, 3 June (Jubilee), Saturday, 4 June and Sunday, 5 June (weekend).

Staple Hill Post Office - 179 Dunbabin Road, BS16 5HF

- Jubilee, 3 June: CLOSED
- 4 June: 10 am to 5 pm
- 5 June: CLOSED
People are advised to check the opening times of their local post office by either contacting them directly or looking at any social media channels affiliated with it.

Do Royal Mail still deliver on bank holidays?
On Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June, which are the Whitsun and the Platinum Jubilee bank holidays, there are no collections or deliveries in any part of the country.

Hide AdNormal posting and deliveries will be carried out from the next day - which is Saturday 4 June - but there may be a slight delay in service as postal workers deal with increasing demand.
