Even though the weather in the South West of England is nothing to write home about, with mild temperatures and cloudy skies expected throughout the extended weekend, this does not mean that celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will grind to a standstill.

With a number of various events planned across Bristol throughout the bank holiday weekend - ranging from tea parties, playground fun and picnics - there are plenty of things to do over this time suitable for people of all ages.

Jubilee Celebration at College Green

Sunday, 5 June 2022: 10:30 am

Bristol Cathedral is working with its partners to put on a huge feast on College Green to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Suitable for all ages, live music will be performed throughout the event, as well as food and family-orientated activities.

Live performances include the likes of Lady Nade, Phil King, Samantha Lido, the City of Bristol Brass Band and more.

Beard & Sabre Jubilee Festivities

The Beard & Sabre Cider Company are going all out for the Platinum Jubilee this year with a two-day celebration.

On Thursday, they will hold an evening called ‘The Taphouse Sessions Jubilee Special’ where I-Sha-Vii, a singer and songwriter who performs original material, will perform.

Whilst on Friday, there will be a ‘Full Mic Friday Jubilee Special’ evening with live music from 9 pm until midnight.

Portishead Jubilee Celebration

Farrington’s Farm plays host to a remarkable barn dance that you can join in on as a way to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year.
