and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Bristol experienced one of the hottest days on record yesterday (July 18), with the mercury rising to 35.3C - as an extreme heat warning remains in place from the Met Office.
The Met Office has said that temperatures in some parts of the UK could reach 40°C this week.

There is no need to go far, as seasonally opened Beeses, a pet-friendly pub, is the perfect place to cool off in the heat this summer.
Where is Beeses?
The cafe is located at Wyndham Crescent, Brislington, in Bristol and is easily accessible by car with only a 22-minute drive from the city centre.

However, it is recommended that people travel by taxi, bike or public transport due to difficulty parking.

What to expect at Beeses?
The riverside venue describes itself as Bristol’s best-kept secret and has lush gardens where you can sit with a cold drink in hand during the warm weather.
The pub frequently hosts a range of fun community events to enjoy, including live music from a range of talented local musicians every Friday.
On 21 July, the pub will host a Thai dining evening, allowing customers to get a real taste of Thailand with authentic dishes on offer.

The pub also serves main courses and several mouthwatering burgers. There is also a children’s menu and a Pastry of the Day special.
On Sunday, the pub serves a Sunday roast, with the choice of pork belly, chicken supreme or mushroom wellington, all coming with roast potatoes, butternut squash puree, seasonal vegetables, a Yorkshire pudding and home-made gravy.
Food can be washed down with a crisp pint from the Bristol Beer Factory or a refreshing cocktail.
